The Bench Meter iHorn is made from an antique British panel meter probably made between 1920 and 1940. An ammeter (from Ampere Meter) is a measuring instrument used to measure the current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes, hence the name. By the late 19th century, improved instruments were designed which could be mounted in any position and allowed accurate measurements in electric power systems. The Bench Meter iHorn uses a vintage small fox hunting horn as the horn. The Bench Meter was a tool of the trade which reminds us that technology teaches and each of us is electric!
