Desmo

The Desmo iHORN is made from a brass vintage English Desmo automobile horn, made in the era of the Model T.  Desmo horns are highly collectible in the automobilia world.  The Desmo horn, also known as the cornicello, is a twisted horn-shaped symbol that originated in ancient Italy. It was a symbol of fertility and prosperity, and was often associated with the horns of sacred animals. Desmo Ltd. was founded in 1922.  These horns were frequently used on MG automobiles, which are British made vehicles.  From 1850 through the early 1950s, Birmingham was known as the area in England responsible for the manufacturer of brass and copper items.  The Desmo is tuxedo sharp, formal but fertile.  It is historic in the manner in which it contributed to the automotive experience, then and now.
