Enterprise Meat Grinder

The Meat Grinder iHorn is made from part of an antique meat grinder made by Enterprise.  The modern meat grinder was invented by German Baron Karl Drais in the mid-1800s, revolutionizing meat preparation from tedious chopping to efficient grinding, using a hand-cranked screw to push meat through a perforated plate, leading to innovations like sausage-making and eventually electric models that shaped fast-food culture and home cooking by making ground meat affordable and accessible.  Enterprise was a household brand made by the Enterprise Manufacturing Company in Philadelphia, which was founded in 1864.  Enterprise operated independently until 1956 when it was subject to acquisition.  This model screwed into a butcher’s block.  The Meat Grinder iHorn begs the question, “Where’s the beef?”
