Hartman

The Hartman  iHorn is made from a Hartman Pedestal Radio Speaker Horn. The horn was made in 1924.

Hartman took a huge gamble.  Instead of a table top speaker, they made a piece of furniture.  The Hartman Pedes-Teller was a new type of radio speaker, employing principles that produce a quality and truth of tone unequaled. Sound source was placed at the bottom of a three-foot tapered solid wood tone chamber, thus giving a delightfully soft and mellow reproduction of sound.  It's total height is approximately 40". The initial price in 1924 was $38.00, expensive when the average worker earned 42.5¢ an hour.  

The Hartman iHorn is a beautiful piece of art and a first of its kind.  Subtle furnishings with a rich, warm unparalleled sound.  Being unique is undervalued.
