The Kellogg Symphony iHorn is made from an extremely rare Kellogg Symphony radio horn which was made in 1925 and is days short of being a centurian.  The finish is exquisite art deco, but unusual for its copper veining which most frequently is veined in gold.  The horn itself is fiberboard, the functional equivalent of particular board in today’s lumber terms.  The Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Company was founded in 1897 by Milo G. Kellogg after Alexander Graham Bell's telephone patents expired in 1893 and 1894. The company competed with Western Electric and the Bell System before being absorbed into ITT in 1951.  Kellogg was a voracious inventor, with about 150 patents to his name (125 of them were granted on October 17, 1899).  The Kellogg Symphony is drop dead gorgeous with a functional curiosity.  So dawn your flapper attire, do the Charleston, and let the era’s charm envelope you.
