Talk of the Times

The Talk of the Times iHORN  is a blend of technologies which in their day, altered the American landscape.  The base unit is a Western Electric Bell Telephone.  On the receiver side, under the plate are a series of patent numbers, the latest of which dates 1894.  The telephone modernized stationary spot-to-spot communication in the same manner that cellular telephones altered the mobility of that same method of communication.  The horn is an antique kitchen funnel, a tool which was used in every American household. 

Combined, the Talk of the Times IHORN is both beautiful and functional.  It speaks of the technological revolutions which have retrospectively and will prospectively alter the world.
