The Postcard Projector 66 iHorn is made from a H.C. White Co. Radio Junior Post Card Projector. It was made in 1915. It has been rewired and is lit with a 25 watt bulb.
Postcard projectors could project slides, postcards and photographs onto a wall or screen. While the slide is easily understood, how it projected postcards and photographs is unknown to me, despite my research. It is my understanding that because these projectors were mirrorscopes, the image was projected inverted. Therefore, you placed the image into the holder upside down and the projected image was right side up!
The Postcard Projector iHorn is unique and entertaining. So pop the corn, dim the lights, and prepare for lights, camera, action and project!
