Splitdorf

The Splitdorf iHorn is made from a 1920’s Splitdorf radio horn which has been clear coated to protect its finish.  Splitdorf was originally founded in 1858, but when its success became apparent and it competed with Edison, the big boy gobbled it up through corporate acquisition and merger.  Unfortunately, by January 1929, Splitdorf had been consumed by Edison. 

Nonetheless, The Splitdorf iHorn is stately and classic.  Its aluminum horn produces a volume of sound which is unparalleled.  Its patina reflects an ageless quality which is rough yet gentle.  It is flat out sexy.
