The Stitch Mistress iHORN is made from a vintage manual Stitch Mistress sewing machine which was made in the 1940s to teach children to sew. It was made by Genero Company, in Long Beach, California. Early toys were frequently genera specific and equally important they were designed to mimic adult behavior. The Stitch Mistress was no different. The Stitch Mistress iHorn honors the craft of sewing – a noble pass time which clothes the world with the fabric of life and is truly a stitch in time.
