The 8 Track  iHORN is made from a Craig after market 8 track player, coupled with a fox hunting horn, and garnished with an 8 Track tape the man in black- Johnny Cash at San Quentin.

8-track tapes were created in 1964 by a consortium led by Bill Lear of Lear Jet Corporation, along with Ampex, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Motorola, and RCA Victor Records (RCA).  They were extremely popular in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Japan, but relatively unknown to the rest of the world.  In September 1965, Ford Motor Company introduced factory-installed and dealer-installed eight-track tape players on the 1966 Mustang, Thunderbird and Lincoln.  It was considered convenient and portable.  However, size matters and by the early 1970’s, cassette tapes replaced the 8 track which was undersized out of the market.

The 8 Track was part of the hippie generation and literally revolutionized the ability to play on demand popular music wherever you found yourself.  Whether in your car, boom boxing at the beach, or wherever the wind took you, The 8 Track allowed you to get and keep your groove on.  The 8 Track iHorn let’s you rock on and stroll back in time to when ideals were worth pursuing and hatred was took a back seat to love.  America could benefit from a look in the rear view mirror and remember that in revolution we found prosperity, creativity, and an ability to be free.
