The Blow Torch

The Blow Torch iHorn is made from a vintage Otto Bernz blow torch which has been refurbished.    The man credited with creating the very first self-acting blowtorch was a Frenchman, Théodore Pierre Bertin, who registered his invention during the period of the French Revolution in 1798.  Otto Bernz founded his company in 1876 in Newark, New Jersey.  He continued to make blow torches for decades.  Today, you can purchase a Bernzomatic torch in almost any hardward store.Blowtorches remained essentially the same, burning fuel rather than gas, until the 1950's when the first propane torch was invented.   The Blow Torch is a unique iHorn which is practical and flamin’ hot.
