The Chanson

The Chanson  iHorn is made from a Chanson Radio Reproducer made by Chanson Laboratories.  This horn is so rare that it is not even depicted on the Radio Museum website.  In fact, there is literally no information available on the history of Chanson Laboratories in Los Angeles.  My best guess is that this horn was made sometime between 1920 and 1928 (which is when the paper cone speaker was invented and for the most part, horn reproducers went out of fashion), but in truth, your guess might be as good as mine.  Regardless, it’s a wonderful horn, pleasing to both the eyes and the ears.
