The Lux

The Lux iHorn is made from a vintage fire hose diffuser.  It is copper and brass.  The first fire extinguisher was patented in England in 1732 by Ambrose Godfrey, who was a celebrated chemist.  The modern fire extinguisher was invented by British Captain George William Manby in 1818 consisting of a copper vessel of 3 gallons of potassium carbonate solution contained within compressed air.  Today, fire extinguishers are in every commercial building in the United States and have saved thousands of lives.  The Lux  is a throw back to a technology which is life saving, and when you play music through the The Lux will be on fire.
