The Mohawk iHorn is made in 1927 and is a rubber radio horn in a remarkable red color. To be clear, this horn is so rare that there are no photographs of it on the internet and I have not before seen one. It was manufactured by All American Mohawk Rauland Lyric Corporation. in Chicago, Illinois. The Company sold products under the trade names All-Max, Chieftan, Eagle, Lyric, Mohawk, Navajo and Sextette. Founded in 1920, the Company was a pioneer in the field when radio first became universally recognized. Ultimately, the company split in parts, which were purchased by the likes of Wurlitzer (a big player in jukeboxes but makers of fine violins at the time of purchase) and Zenith.
The Mohawk iHorn is one of a kind. It is eye catching, subtle yet stately. It will well accessorize a classic décor and warm your heart.
