THe SMA Paris

The SMA iHORN is made from a brass horn which was mounted on various French automobiles, including the De Dion Bouton Type DX.  It was made in 1913 (or at least is was the standard horn on French automobiles in 1913.   It bolted on the right side of the vehicle near the windshield permitting the driver (who was positioned on the right), to reach the bulb with their right hand.  The bulb squeezed to emit the horn noise.    SMA horns are highly collectible and valued in the vintage automobile collector market.  The SMA iHorn is part of the industrial revolution and early automobilia.  It is historic in the manner in which it contributed to the automotive experience.
