The Standard

The Standard iHORN is made from a brass Standard horn which was mounted on a Model T.  The horn mounted with a bracket which was bolted to the firewall indicates that the horn was made between 1910 and 1920.  The Standard horn was connected to a bulb which was inside the cab of the Model T and was squeezed to emit the horn noise.  As originally constructed, the opening of the horn had a screen which kept foreign particles from entering the horn.  Standard horns came in several different shapes and are highly collectible and valued in the vintage automobile collector market.  The Standard iHorn is part of the industrial revolution and early Americana.  It is historic in the manner in which it contributed to the automotive experience.
