Thomson Voltmeter

The Thomson Voltmeter iHorn is made from a General Electric Company Ammeter which was made in 1909. It is an immaculately beautiful tool used as a measuring instrument used to measure the current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes. By the late 19th century, improved instruments were designed which could be mounted in any position and allowed accurate measurements in electric power systems.   The Thomson Voltmeter  iHorn uses a small fox hunting horn  as the horn and is simply a gorgeous example of quality workmanship as both a teaching tool and a tool of the trade which reminds us that we are never to old to learn and that the world is a laboratory of fascination.
