Trimm

The Trimm iHorn is made from a Trimm Home Speaker, made in 1925.  Trimm, Inc. was located in Libertyville, Illinois.  Trimm, Inc. originated with the production of headsets, loudspeakers and hearing aids in the early 1920's. Success was gained when owner Paul Bottorff pioneered a program to teach deaf children, hence launching the development of personal aid kits.  Although Trimm's growth in the 1930's was mainly in the sale of hearing aids, during World War II the company produced headsets for the military and non-radio industry.  Trimm, Inc. continues to exist today, adapting to changes in technology and demands, now being a primer manufacturer of power distribution equipment.  The Trimm is another wonderful example of classic lines and colors.  The Trimm is a beautiful piece of art which performs smoothly and loudly.
