The Victor iHorn is a beautifully wood grained painted metal Victor Radio Horn which is immaculate in every way. It was made between 1920 and 1928. Victor was the leading American producer of phonographs and records & one of the leading phonograph companies in the world at the time. Victor had the trademark rights to use the image of the dog listening to the phonograph.
Victor was one of the first companies to see the importance of signing contracts with popular singing artists and musicians, making them exclusive to the Victor label. This made them successful in the record business.
In 1906, Victor produced a cabinet model phonograph to blend in with furniture called "Victrola". On December 15, 1928, Victor merged with RCA ending its solo run in the field of radios and talking machines, becoming RCA Victor.
The Victor iHorn is impeccable and marvelous. It is American craftsmanship at its finest. It is a stately iHorn which sings of pride in the reality of “Made in America.”
